Monday Camp: The Magic of Mixed Media Collage Our Monday campers have been diving deep into the versatile world of collage! From upcycled magazine cutouts to gathered natural materials, our artists are discovering the endless possibilities of mixed media. After all, who doesn't love the tactile fun of cutting, gluing, and arranging different textures and materials to build a unique masterpiece?
Thursday Camp: Expressionism & Inner Worlds Over in our Thursday Expressionism Camp, the studio transforms into a reflective, creative sanctuary. Here, students are connecting with their emotions, inner thoughts, and dreams to guide their art. They’ve drawn inspiration from the dynamic splash techniques of Jackson Pollock, painted to music to discover how sound shapes emotion (just like Wassily Kandinsky!), and explored the symbolic dream paintings of Indigenous Australian artists. It’s been incredible watching these young creators tap into their inner worlds to make truly meaningful art.
